 Wild lacquer fruit(wood) wax is an oil obtained from pure physical processes such as pressing in the outer peel of wild lacquer tree seeds. It is solid at room temperature, waxy, sticky, brittle, easily ruptured, and the surface of the tear is not shiny. There is a cow fat odor, insoluble in water. It mainly consists of 90 % to 95 % of the triglycerides of advanced fatty acids(mainly palmitic acid, oleic acid and stearic acid), 3 % to 5 % of free fatty acids, and 1 % to 2 % of free fatty alcohols.
